You don't need to speak Arabic

Every letter and every word is spoken aloud by a native voice. Tap it as often as you like. If you can press play, you can teach your child Arabic.

One lesson a day, and only one

No menu to browse and no decision to make. Today's lesson opens when Alifly does, takes ten to fifteen minutes, and then it is finished. A quiet habit beats a long session.

Taught in an order that holds

Letters arrive in a sequence built for how a hand and an ear develop — not alphabetical order. Writing, reading and words move together, so your child reads the same letter they wrote that week.

You can see it working

Every lesson is recorded against the letter it taught, and the alphabet fills in as your child masters it. The same record a nursery teacher keeps, on your phone.

What one lesson looks like

Five short steps. Your child cannot tap past one without actually doing it.

01

Listen

The letter, said aloud in a native voice. As many times as they want.

02

Recognise

Find it among letters that look almost the same.

03

Trace

Right to left, in the right order. Scribbling over it does not count.

04

Read it in a word

Six real words a child knows — door, duck, house.

05

Done

Stars, the streak, and tomorrow's letter. Then it closes.

What the app teaches

Letter shape, stroke order and direction. Sounds, reading, and a first vocabulary. Tracing on a screen teaches a child how a letter is formed and which way it runs.

What it doesn't

A finger on glass is not a pencil, and we won't pretend otherwise. Handwriting and pencil grip come from paper. Give your child a pencil too — the printed workbooks exist for exactly that.

Built for children, properly

You hold the account

Your child has a profile, not an account. A first name and an age band — nothing else.

No third-party code

No analytics, no advertising, no attribution kits. Nobody is watching your child use this.

Works on a plane

Lessons are on the device. A long car journey is prime practice time.

A gate on settings

Anything that costs money or leaves the app sits behind a grown-up check.
